May 2014, I was the recipient of the 2014 MTS Bursary based on my academic progress, student teaching experience and I exhibited personal qualities considered essential for successful teaching. I was very honoured to have won this award. It symbolizes all of the hard work, dedication and respect that I have for this profession. Every student has the right to learn and I cannot wait to provide this opportunity for my students.
Winnipeg Chapter of the Golden Key International Honour Society
This september I was recognized as being in the top 15% of my program. With that I qualified to be a part of the Golden Key International Honour Society. It is a great achievement and something I am very proud of. I was one that struggled with school and academics throughout highschool. With this in mind, I know what it is like to sturggle and I believe it has made me a stronger and better educator today because I understand that struggle. I am proof that you can overcome those struggles and be successful. I am grateful and honored to be apart of this group.
